FISHBOWL Event: Presented by Small Church Big Table & Christians for Social Action

April 19 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

In collaboration with Christians for Social Action, Small Church Big Table is hosting a unique, live FISHBOWL dialogue event for church leaders navigating LGBTQ questions.

What is a FISHBOWL?

Watch a balanced panel* of LGBTQ Christians from across the theological divide share their stories, insights, and questions for each other while you and others listen, reflect, and submit questions anonymously. This is not a debate or a training. It’s an opportunity to witness how difficult conversations can unfold with curiosity, care, and faithfulness.

*Our panel will feature at least one trans person, one parent of an LGBTQ person, and various LGBT people — our conversation partners’ theological perspectives on sexuality and gender range from traditional to progressive. All are wise and gracious.

What’s Included:

  • Access to the live Zoom event
  • Submit questions before &/or during event
  • Access to the recording afterwards
  • Resources for pastors and church leaders

This is a chance to observe what faithful disagreement can look like.
